Thanks in Advance

One option is to create a BartPE CD/DVD using the DriveImage XML V1.21 plug-in...

http://www.runtime.org/peb.htm

Next boot to the newly created BartPE CD/DVD, then opening DI XML from within the Preinstallation Environment. You could then restore the image you created previously, from within this environment. Here's a DriveImage tutorial focusing on BartPE and automation...

Thread from 4-5 years ago talking about Drive Image and Partition Magic which do not work with newer 1TB hard drives/chipsets or Vista:

Nowadays it's Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image, both nowhere near as good as Drive Image 2002 which doesn't work with new systems :(, here yo go:

I would love to test any third alternative that could compete but the ones I've tried are even worse than Norton and Acronis:

redduc900 posted before me :)
