Paragon is giving free the hard disk management software Paragon Hard Disk Manager 8.0 Special Edition.

Any opinions on this software? I've been looking for something similiar to Ghost for backing up my drive, but havent really found anything I like.

IMO, gparted and clonezilla make Partition Magic and Ghost unnecessary. Those are two freeware programs you should check out if you haven't already.

About this offer, I got a serial # so that worked. However, the download page isn't loading for me. I'm not sure I really need this, but free is free

For those with Vista, this program does not run and it does not let me uninstall either.

Partition Manager 8.5 SE doesn't work w/ the 64-bit version of Vista, in fact it won't even install.

Anyone install this and use it yet? I'm wondering just what makes this particular version "Special". Only certain software included? Or is it the full suite as the normal Hard Disk Manager?

Eh , wont work on Xp x64 either .

You'd thing both x64 os's would be a little more common place by now and be included in a disk software requirements .
