F@H Spotlight #28

This is the 28th in the series of T32 Spotlights!! I'll try my best to keep this Spotlight as regular post as possible as long as the nominations keep coming in!! So, keep sending me the nomination guys/gals!!!

For how to go about nominating a fellow folder, please go to THIS THREAD, or better yet, you can PM me directly. To see the ever growing list of who has been interviewed and the expected date of the next spotlight, please go to THIS THREAD.

Also, for any of the suggestions/questions/answers/etc. that you would like to see from other member, please PM me too!!

This time, we have a special member, from what I know about him, he is the one that makes ALL hardware manufacturer working their butt off just to keep up his appetite of latest new hardware! The rate of changing hardware (mainly CPUs and Mobos) are 2nd to none! And rumor is, our classified section was solely created for him yearss ago so he can easier to unload all his 3 weeks old NEW machines!! I've presonally encounter with this OC.com powah seller/buyer yearss ago too (forgotten if I'm buying or selling tho....)! For anyone who wants to unload or adding folder, he certainly is the one you want to talk to! But you might wanna watch out 'cos his might muscle his forum powah (being a mod) to make you put his user name on your config file too.....

Now please give a warm welcome to..........................

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Again, Thanks for taking the time to allow me to interview you.
When did you join the Team? Approximate date is ok if you don't know the specific date.
August 2001?
If there was something recent that you did that you wanted your fellow teammembers to know about, what would it be?
Bought a P4 2.8, a Cely 2.4 and a Dual Xeon 2.0
What is your EOC (extremeoverclockers) stats link?
EOC
You do not have to give specifics (address), but what State do you live in, and if you don't mind telling, what town? (town is not required, but if not a town, a general direction and distance from the nearest 'big town/city' would suffice)
Lima, Ohio
How did you initially hear about F@H?
ocforums.com, of course!
After starting, why do you continue to Fold?
Team 32, I know it's a search for the cure to many diseases, but I more enjoy helping the team
What do you do for a living?
Information Services - Tech Specialist I at a local healthcare facility
What do you do for fun?
Work on PCs, play soccer
Is there anything special you do in your spare time that you really enjoy?
I enjoy yardwork, and cleaning. Don't tell my wife.
Time to spill your guts. What are the stats of your main folding rig? Why is it your fave? What all do you use the rig for?
My "main rig"? Hmmm. The main PC I use is a 3.0w/ HT that I use for general word, internet, forums, email, blah blah blah. Best folder is probably the Dual Xeon I'm working on (will probably pick up 2 or 3 more in the next 6 months) to replace my aging dual PIII
Do you have a Borg-Farm? If so, how many computers, and what are they? (CPU, RAM)
yes. Several P4s, a few P4Celly types, even have an old Quad Xeon 550/2Mb. And others as I find them.
What are your future goals? What do you most want to accomplish with your life?
More dual Xeons. Buy a house. Get completely out of debt. Ban SilverSinkSam
I would like to be remember as someone that gave every chance he could.
If there is something you want to tell the team, then spill your guts! What have I missed in my questions that could help the team learn more about you and who you are?
If any of you think you're going to catch me, good luck!
As a side note, if you have any pics (in jpg format for the dial-suck users) of things like your hobbies, computer(s), yourself, etc.... that you want to add to the thread to give people more of an idea of who you are?
No pics, there's already one out there so it ruins my attempted total anonymity on these forums, since I've been here what, 8-9 years?
Thank you!
I"ll have to find that pic I post here. I just ordered an 805 that I hope to get a good OC out of, am considering a Core Duo lappy that will probably only run 1 instance....and probably a Conroe or two when they come out.
Nice to meet you! We're practically neighbors. Well, Indiana happens to be sandwiched in between us. Sorry, z0n3. But still. I've been to Ohio before. Took a road trip to purchase a 'Stang in Mansfield, Ohio. Looking for some Dual Xeons are you?! Brother, just let me know, and I can set you up with some primo M0 steppings I have around here and a couple of PC-DLs still in the box. Just say the word. Fold on!
