I'm getting an extremely late birthday present from the parents, and I figured I'd ask for some stuff for my new rig. I've got an asus p5ad2-e premium. You can see a newegg pic here . I want to get some active cooling for the northbridge. It's under the xp-120 somewhat, but hardly any airflow gets to it. The size is somewhat restricted; it needs to be no more than 2.5 inches tall including the fan. It also needs the clips. The "ai proactive" thing gets extremely hot as well. And I mean very hot. I can't touch it for more than a few seconds without burning, so I'd like to get some active cooling for that too. I'm guessing its the southbridge. It uses the little pins. Here are some close ups of the two stock hs.
I know the image quality sucks, but its the only way I can get it to a decent size. I haven't installed photoshop on this rig yet.
