Sony Trinitron locked

I got a Trinitron g420 (19" flat) recently. I tried and tried to get the display right but couldn't. So I rang up the repair centre and they fixed some dry caps and when I got it back I couldn't enter the menu.

Basically, I pressed any button on the monitor and a green key would appear in the left hand corner. So I ring them back up and they reckon they need it back again.

I dont want to give it back to the clowns but they are the only authorised repair centre in my state.

Has anyone with a Trinitron monitor experienced this?

I cant even change my refresh rate coz then I cant adjust the screen display area. What tha!

In the manual under additional settings it has instructions on how to turn the lock on and off.
If that doesnt work then maybe they screwed the controler up when they "fixed" it and will have to open it up again.
