Any RUMORS about when 15ms 19" LCD come out?

anyone hear/see anything?

Best LCD's out there are the 17" LCD's with 15ms TOTAL (rise+fall) response times and Planar, Viewsonic, Hitachi make those.

I want to know if I should go 19" LCD w/ 25ms TOTAL response time or stick it out for this summer when/IF the 15ms 19"ers will be coming out...

i would wait if you game. if you don't it wouldnt hurt to go ahead and buy now. but dont go higher than 25ms. as of time when these 15ms 19" come out i dont really know. i too am looking for a LCD and am gonna hold out for the 15ms. i know there are some already out there, but not in any market us common folk can get to. i'm sure we will be seing reviews or roundups on tomshardware or anandtech soon, and i will be buying based off that.

OLED monitors are just over the horizon. I would look forward to those at the moment.

Those numbers you state are only applicable at certain settings. (Read: 80% contrast, 50% brightness) You can get any number you want if you turn the settings all the way to nil.

Might I reccomend the NEC/Mitsubishi monitor rather than all those others you've pointed to? NEC has a brilliant output compared to all of them using the EXACT same screen.
