I CURRENTLY HAVE 6 GIGS OF RAM DO I REALLY NEED THAT MUCH I THINK 4 IS ENOUGH. BUT WITH PLAYING CRYSIS AND **** DO I NEED TO HAVE MORE. |

Do you need more than 4 gigs? Probably not, most average users don't. I know I don't need more than 4 gigs. What do you do with your computer? If its just games, internet and media playback, even simultaneously, 4 is prolly plenty. If you already have 6 though, I wouldn't remove any just because you don't think you need it.

I had issues reading the first post since it was all caps, but the only reason I'd use 4GB over 6GB is if 4GB gave me a significantly higher overclock ![]()

correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't it easier to overclock with less ram, for example .. it's easier to get higher overclock on 4gb than 8gb on the exact same setup???

4 is fine.... you can run crisis on 2gb of ram i would be more worried about gpu. |
