Is this right?
Nevermind the excessive as5.
Notice the hs/waterblock isn't even touching the outer part of the cpu's.
No wonder one of the cores is warmer than the others.

2 different cpu's look like this.
I think it's has something to do with the backplate on the otherside of the socket.

Any solutions or suggestions?

Looking for the RAM you're talking about. Is this it? Same thing but on Newegg.

ODB, What block are using and is your cpu lapped? Also, what type of mounting system are you using? It could be the backplate...

I'm so sorry for being neglectful on this thread.
Haven't been benching it cuz of the hot weather.
Torr, Welcome to the Forum! http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=491697
It's this ram http://www.frys.com/product/5838173?...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG
But now I'm using the Corsair's http://www.frys.com/product/5839543?...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG
But I'm sure the Crucials would do the same.
SuperDave, Apogee GTZ w/b. No lapped cpu,,,, yet. From what I've been told by someone that knows better, it's normal. So I'm not going to worry about it. My temps are good to go.

Had to make your "expectations" good.

I'll play with getting the max bclk later.

Unlike some boards auto on this board is more than just a shot in the dark, you can safely set it on auto without having a Vtt at 1.5 that is somewhat hight for starters.

The board is very tolerant to "unstable" OC profiles and will almost always boot irrespective of your settings (within limits off course, 230 x 21 will need more than 1.35v )

It also boots nice and fast unlike some X58 boards that seem to take forevere to get to Win load screen.

Have fun and good luck

Sheet my P6t-Delux V2 boots to desktop in 60seconds or less, this is hardly forever lol
