In about 4 days i will be ordering my computer and was wondering when you order whole setups do they ship them in one large box or several smaller boxes? Just wondering if anyone knows, thanks.

With my complete system order, they fit all the smaller items (motherboard, RAM, expansion cards, PSU, hard drives, optical drive, peripherals) into a single large box. Items already in large retail boxes, like my case and speakers, shipped as is.

Depending on which warehouse(s) the items are located in it may come either as one shipment, or multiple shipments. Also it may be individual packages, or one large box containing multiple items, depending on which provides better shipping costs.

If the item ships from multiple warehouses you will get multiple packages, possibly at different times.

This is correct. Items from the same shipping location will share the same box. (generally speaking)

Once I had a hard drive shipped with a PC case in regular PC case box, feeble protection and all. But that wasn't from Newegg.

That's how mine usually is. More or less its a crapshoot depending on where you items are coming from .
