Locking a nerd like me in a room by myself with a decent computer a 9 MBps internet connection...heh, bound to happen. :-/

HAhaha welcome to my world,
The plan sounds good for your brazed/tig'd/welded container Camel, but I think your solid will be better for cpu and gpu.

JC... can I come over and play with your tools too? lol

you need to create the biggest area to cool better.

that is why not solid containers have an advantage because you have more freedon to design.

here is a pic of my tube:

I looked at those pix of development... looks like TONS of work!

looks like a grid of drilled holes and then diagonal band-saw cuts.

a design like that would not allow any D-ice near the base... for LN2 i can see advantage but for D-ice i think dis-advantage.

Lookin good Joe, it certainly has the right temperature :D

Good job testing first, some guys wouldn't have bothered ;)

im a wuss when it comes to things like this.
(i dont have them "bowling ball" sized balls Gautam has :p)

but i guess that also explains why i have both my X1900's still :p ;)

wink wink, nudge nudge :D

and anyway, i dont have the contest card to mount it to :(
the base is 2" x 2" and thus will mount with the 4x holes to the contest card but is too small for "normal" card mounts.

wow JC that was a low blow.... but then i guess there is nothing wrong with checking your insulation to make sure you dont have any condinsation before leaving it going 27/4 :p

/me sends Gautam a beer

I'm not a drinking man.

Thanks again for the av JC. :D

@ each individual voltage what was the wattage, peltiers + subzero = change in resistance.

Otherwise, time to insulate more and make some more containers :)

sorry dont know the wattage :(
(didnt take notes of the amps if that would have helped :()

ya, im happy with this. it IS time to make another (CPU) one... shipment from onlinemetals should be here Friday :D

JC, how many lbs did u get and for how much? Curious what I'm going to be charged...
