 OK heres the scoop! I've been playing around with my setup. I understand that my system may have glitches due to overclocking so this weekend I decided to run @ 1.6. I keep having this system file that gets dumped outta the blue for no obvious reason. I'm runnin MSDN XP Pro with stuff listed below. Looking at my hardware can anyone tell me are there any known conflicts? I'll make an attempt to record this error next time it crosses my path. I did overhaul this stuff into an Asus CUV4X-D runnin 2 1000 P3's and everything worked just dandy! So I'm thinking it's the chipset or somthing with regaurds to this mobo. Oh I forgot to add that when this error occurs It will not boot ever again until I do a system rapair. When I try to repair it doesn't detect my HDD. I have basically rebuilt this machine a few times now. I have to remove everything just for a simple fix like a HDD swap etc.... I might also mention I'm using a seperate controller for each drive & I'm useing IDE 3 as the HDD controller. I can use all the help you folks can give at this point.

Thanks for the input, but I have tried to use both NTFS and FAT 32 and get the exact same results with both. Also I have my SB in PCI 1 a while back i spoke to a tech from Creative about an issue I had . He mentioned that Nvidia has had conflicts with Creative and said not to install SB in slot 1. Any thoughts on that? I of course removed it only to still have the same results.

Have you tried minimums? 1 stick of ram, and one hard drive, and CD drive?
then start adding your other hardware back in.
if it starts to drop off when you put more in, could be a power supply issue...
