2209WA Discontinued ?! gasp!

I had one post removed by Dell because they didn't like what I said about their marketing strategy

If the 2209WA was a popular monitor, and it was with people who use a panel for photo editing, and it was apparently selling well and had just come out at the beginning of 2009, what's the strategy behind pulling it? Did they pull it in response to the fact that their other 22" monitors were being overlooked because the 2209WA was so much better?
* Nothing so machiavellian. The panel manufacturer cannot keep up with our demand for the entry IPS panel. We cannot sell what they cannot give us.

Did they think they priced it too low?

They pulled it from the site because it was extremely back ordered. people who recently ordered are reporting ship dates in September.

that would really suck if they dell released a 24inch eips with the same great quality as the 2209wa because i would then be torn in debate amongst myself on the issue of, do i get rid of the 2209wa or keep it LOL.
