120Hz Samsung 2233RZ worth it for 2D playback?

With a 120Hz monitor, I could configure games to have a minimum fps of 40 with VSync on. Now that the Samsung 2233RZ is only $300; is it worth it getting if you don't plan on buying the shutter glasses?

Also, other than the Dell 2209WA, are there any other IPS monitors 22" or more under $450?

Anyway, I have the monitor and the glasses, and I hardly ever use the glasses. My last monitor was a normal 22" 60hz Samsung LCD, and this one just blows it away.

To be honest I doubt you could tell them apart. The Dell would have better colors and viewing angles, and the Samsung would have slightly less blur.
