In the market for a new monitor, I was going to go the dual 2209wa route but.... due to the lack of stock of them decided just to get a 24'. I hear very good reviews coming out of the 2408 which is a PVA if I am not mistaken? I have just recently came across the LP2475w though. The LP2475w is a H-IPS. Does anyone have any experience with both monitors or at least give an idea which is better?

I just bought the G2410...It will be going back to Dell...Hoping they will have the 2009WA back up on the 13th...Back to the G2410...I dont think so.

Anywho here is some food for thought.

I may not have to find an alternative afterall, heh :). I have a source that is getting 15 2209wa in on Monday. So guess I will try that route first.

IMO for everyday use PVA is just as good as H-IPS panels.

I see you are in Texas...I am in Houston...Any chance your "source" will be willing to let another 2209WA go ???

Here's the deal with monitors - what one person likes or finds acceptable or even good is going to be different from other people. The best bet if you're unsure is to buy from a place with no hassle returns, and check for restock fees or check your CC to see if they cover restock fees. I personally can't stand anything other than IPS because of the horizontal color/contrast shift inherent to *VA panels but I guess it doesn't bother other people.

+1. If you've never had something high end, then what you have looks great. For me, my 2408 (PVA) is wayyy better than my last TN, but I know that the next lcd I get will be an IPS because I'm aware of the pitfalls of VA panels too.
