I have an option of buying a new monitor or monitors. But my Question is Which is better? 1 Big 24" 1920x1200 or 2 19" 1280x1024? There both around the same price some thats not an issue. I know that it depends on what i need them for but I really do alot of everything, games, alot of windows open, web browsing, video/movies. So i'm just kinda stuck as which to get. Thanks for any help!

I think one 24" is better. resolution would be 1920x1200 vs 2560x1024, not much of a difference IMO. either way, you'll get used to whatever you use.

if those were my only options i would go with the big screen so u can watch some HD. My person choice would be the 24" with a 19 or 17 on the side. I love dual monitors so much i had to pick up a crt off craigs when my second monitor died. . . now i have lost all my desk space

Yeah I love dual monitors. I can have a website up in one window and a movie or game or anything else up in the other.

Yea I was thinking that I might benefit from the bigger screen more. I might be able to get my parents to let me have their old 19" and I'll just get the 24" and have Dual that way. :p

I've had both recently and both have their advantages. I am currently using a single larger screen and can't go back because of space arrangement issues. The larger screen is great for gaming or watching video, but I do miss dual screens for being able to do two things at once, have a bunch of windows visible, multiple PCs hooked up, watch stuff on one monitor whlie working on the other, or even just dedicating the second to stuff like IM, music player etc. The dualies were 1680x1050 instead of my current 1920x1200 however so it was a larger difference in total area than yours.
I'm thinking of how I can fit a cheapo secondary monitor like a 17" TN or something :p

Hehe that's what I do, I have a nice monitor and my cheap 17" TN Sony from 2004 :)

I like to run the smaller monitor vertically to read documents, but TN panels go dark when you view from below, so you would have to position it where it wouldn't go dark during your horizontal head movements. I just wont get a TN panel for myself.
My dream setup would be one 30" center and two vertical 20" side wings :D

I myself am in this same situation decision also. I am wanting to get dual 1680x1050, but I would need something that can display bluray at a very high quality. Any suggestions? The monitors I had in mind were.... either... two Dell 2009w or just one Dell 2408wfp.
Edit: The Dell 2209WA is looking tempting also.
