Hello all, i ave a question regarding picture quality...

now my question is............

Will there be any noticable difference if i hook the monitor up with a straidht DVI connector :: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812189048

or if i use a DVI to HDMI cable:: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812816009

someone help me here i have asked a lot of people and have got mixed answers. it would be nice to get an answer from someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

As far as I know the only difference between the 2 is that HDMI is a thinner cable and carries audio as well as video. They carry the same digital video signal (which is why all you need is a dvi to hdmi adapter and not a converter of some kind). So you only have to use the hdmi cable if you want to use the speakers on the monitor without having a separate cable.
