so tax season is just around the corner again. this year i am going to be buying a lcd monitor. i see a lot of terms that i havent seen before or just never knew what they meant.
1) like what is the different between contrast ratio, DC, DCR, ASCR? im assuming they all have something to do with the contrast ratio. is higher always better?
2) looking at the brightness i see that 300cd/m2 is at least average. what exactly does this do?
3) pixel pitch??? if i remember correctly lower is better?
so i play some games, watch videos, movies, etc, etc. so im thinking a higher response might not be bad. also would like a lcd to have 72Hz refresh. i guess im just really looking for help in figuring out what the terms mean and how they affect what i do. thanks and have a good one!
