Samsung 2253BW & T220 owners PLEASE READ

OK guys i plan on gettin one of these monitors i just need to get some info. mainly the panel maker.

All you have to do is go into the menu set the brightness and contrast to 0 then hold the source / select button for 5+ secs.... a lil secret menu will come up

like this one (2 different monitors pictured)

if you look at the bottom where it says version, please report back to this thread with your version number. im trying to make sense of which monitor has what pannels.

sounds like its locked... they do that for the display models.

just press and hold the menu button for 5+ secs the power light should flash a coupla times. (i think theres some weird thing if you have a dvi connection you gotta unplug it then hold the menu button for 5 secs but dont quote me on that)

cool its looking like a good amount of T220's come with actual samsung panels. (the t220 at frys had a CMO pannel, Circuit city had a samsung, and best buy one had a samsung) As noted by the version number and the second to last "A"

If there was a "D" in the spot of the second to last A it would denote a CMO pannel
