yeah... it is a really sleek and new line of monitors. sexy, that's all I can say. But the price tags will be ridiculous! It's brand new technology and it may become the next LCD thing (in like 5-10 years haha). So unless you got the money, guess you'll be joining me outside the stores drooling over the sight of the new screens :-/

OLED technology has been around for a while. Sony showed some OLED TVs at CES 2008, and they went on sale in the Japanese market last year. I don't know how well OLED will take off for TV purposes, but supposedly they have been used in cell phones and small devices for a few years. I think Plasma and LCD are still going to be the ideal TV technology for a while yet. Plasma and LCD are far along in the perfecting process, while OLED is new and has many obstacles to overcome. I would be cool to see OLED displays wrapped around buildings though :)

Yea I started a thread about OLED almost two years ago.

Here (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=513697&highlight=oled)

Not too many people showed interest in it. Like I said, OLED isn't really practical yet, but someday its going to be a great technology I think.
