Hello. Recently I purchased a Pinnacle PCTV 310i PCI TV card.
The picture quality is satisfying, the software shell is ok (although somewhat confusing with the digital/analog options).
Once in a while the picture freezes and I have to refresh the station.
Now, I've wasted quite a lot of time searching for the cause, before I went to the basics - disable the OC :)
Viola, the problem solved.

Strange how stress+gaming stable OC, minus 1-2%, turns out to be unstable for a simple TV card.

My question is - which part is responsible for PCI slot, and communication between PCI and PCI-e (uses graphic card for acceleration)..?

Thanks.

Most mobos lock your pcie clock I believe.

Mine does, amd770 chipset.

My PCI tv tuner doesn't always look that great and studders sometimes too, wintv pvr 150.

I only still have it in there cuz I heard there is a way to pull digital cable through the coax cable jack on it =) I just torrent any tv show eps i want to watch, they are up minutes after the stuff airs on tv =)
