Toshiba TV's all 10bit panels, and 1080p and come with tilting wall mounting bracket. (no arm)

the pricing: 40 inch $600 (http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/televisions/lcd/product.asp?model=40rv525u), 42 inch is $750 (http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/televisions/lcd/product.asp?model=42rv535u), and the 46 inch is $1000 (http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/televisions/lcd/product.asp?model=46rv535u).

The 42" seems to be the best deal, but for $250 more get a nice monster.

What do you think?

Depends on how much room you have. If you have enough room for any of them, then the bigger the better.

If you plan on gaming, check reviews to find the input lag on those tvs.

My friend got a 46" lcd tv for xmas, and he just returned it because aim in games is crap with the huge input lag it had.

I forget the brand. It was cheap in store stuff, westinghouse I think.

I hear sharps and LG are good for gaming, but check individual reviews online before purchase.

That is fine. That 8ms is the stated Reactivity for the monitor, how fast it takes for a pixel to change from 1 color to another (or grey to grey as that number likely is, one full cycle).

Input lag, which almost all LCD TVs and monitors have varying levels of (you will need to check user reviews here or pro reviews that measure it against a CRT), is the delay from the signal being sent to the display to the time it takes to display it on the screen.

~15ms is about 1 frame.

LCD Tv's can range from 15ms to 60 or more. You do not want to be more than 30ms (2 frames) behind when trying to shoot someone in the face in a shooter. And remember vsync can add 1-2 frames delay (which you prety much need to cap fps at 60 on a 60hz lcd so u dont get tearing) so you want as little as possible on your gaming display.

My benq g2400wd has none =)
