Is there are any news on “ 22 inch (1920x 1080) LCD computer monitors” horizon?
I’m going to buy one, on using this monitor mostly for computer graphics and then sometimes for watching High Def TV or with the 360 Elite

I have already checked Dell's models and Gateway's and they both fall short. Both are short on HDMI connectivity.
Basically I am looking for 24 inch 1920x 1200 monitors with HDMI inputs. I’m thinking of BenQ E2200HD with HDMI.

Although they have DVI connectors and said to run 1080p I am not sure what this means- people are complaining that it does not have HDMI connectors and so does this mean that it doesn't run 1080p??? or is DVI good enough.

Also- Are HDMI and DVI with HDCP the same thing except with different sockets? Even if the Gateway uses a DVI slot, why is this a disadvantage to an HDMI slot??? Or not really? Really, I am a bit confused, :bang head

thanks in advance for clearing “my sky”.

DVI with HDCP is the same thing as HDMI, just with a different connector. The only difference is that HDMI carries the audio as well, while DVI does not. For a computer monitor that should not be an issue at all since I highly doubt you'll be running your audio through the monitor. You can get HDMI-to-DVI cables very cheaply from monoprice. DVI is fully 1080p capable. I use DVI on my plasma TV as well as my 24" monitor.
