I currently have two monitors and envsion h22 and lg flatron 22. The deal is ever since i got an acer laptop i cant stand looking at either of these monitors for anything besides gaming. They are not sharp at all, both of them are fuzzy when looking at text with clear type on or off. I really cant stand the way thee panels look now its driving me crazy! I use to have a standard ratio kds 19 inch which i gave to a friend i used his computer and it looked much crisper than my 22's! The flattron gets really good reviews too... could this all just be becuase they are TN panels, and my laptop and the kds weren't? I really dont want to drop 800 on a 24 dell lcd but if thats the only answer i guess i better start saving.

I have used 5 monitors in the last month. The LG L227WTG-PF, Samsung T220, HP w2207h, acer 22" off newegg, and the benq g2400wd. All but benq are 22" widescreen.

T220 was the best 22, text was great and much sharper than the others. Eons beyond my friends acer 22".
The benq 24 does text nicely as well. Not as, umm, thick and easy to read, as the text was on the T220. But I havent gotten the colors anywhere near where I want them yet on the benq so it may get better.

If you want 22" thats good for eveyrthing the t220 is the ticket. It has some backlight bleed though.
