LCD Shaking/Shimmering

So ive had this 22 inch Envision monitor for a year now and its been fine up a few days ago. Every once in a while maybe once an hour it will shimmer for abour 2 minutes the whole screen shakes like the h sync is off, changing the refresh rate didnt help all the cables are tight. Tried a nec 22 inch at the same res of 1650x1080 no problems i unplugged my panel when it started shaking the nec was fine then i plugged mine back in and it kept shaking.

Anyone have any experience rearing panel does it sound like a leaky capacitor or what?

reset the LCD back to factory settings?

if that doesnt work, is it still under warranty ?

na that doesnt work. i dont know anything about a warranty i bought it at best buy black Friday last year. If i cant repair its history i wanted to replace it anyways its not very sharp. I just dont have the money for it this month so this thing needs to hold on a little bit longer

You're not going to like what I have here for you but... those Envision monitors were junk and black friday was the only day we carried that brand in our store =/

Good news is prices have dropped pretty significantly and you can get a similar size for close to it.

Well i figured it was crap it didt even have a native dvi connection maybe ill just open this bad boy up and jam a multi meter in it

I dont know if LCDs have any caps so be careful.

99% sure its nothing you can fix on your own, a problem with some chip in there somewhere probably.
