Hey guys, I've been sitting around work lately and I really wanted an xbox 360. With that I have a 22" dell monitor that I use for my pc but I wanted to find out if I were to connect it to my monitor with dvi conversion would it look good as an hdtv. Its res is 1680 x 1050. Maybe a ps3 as well for Blue-ray!! :)

thanks

The only real distinction between an lcd monitor and an lcd tv is that the tv has a built in tuner.

I have a 24" gateway that I use as an HDTV all the time. Many monitors, like my gateway, even facilitate that type of use by including inputs such as component, composite and s-video. Even if your monitor doesn't have something like that, you can still easily use an hdmi to dvi cable.
