I have this TV, and I did have my Acer 8930-6448 laptop hooked up to it, and the highest resolution it would allow me to go in games was 1920x1080. Now, is this because that is the highest resolution the laptop would go --> it was a 1920x1080 laptop? Or, was it limited because that is the highest resolution my TV goes?

I'm asking because I sent back the Acer, and I'm building a gaming rig, and I hope that this HDTV won't limit my max resolution to only that of 1920x1080. Please let me know if I'll be able to surpass that resolution with this TV because this TV will be the monitor for my rig.

THANKS!!!

you do realize 1920x1080 is HD as in 1080P. cant really get much better than that.

Well, I was sorta planning on gaming at 2500 x 1600 whenever possible if that even is possible with this TV. That is a lot better than 1920 x 1080...

Will this TV be able to do 2500 x 1600?
