I have 2 LCDs. A samsung 226BW 22" I've had for about 1.5 years, and a Lenovo 17" I received yesterday, brand new. I've always noticed my Samsung's white isn't totally vivid and pure, even on every preset (Such as gaming, movies, sports, custom, dynamic contrast). On the lenovo, things look much more vibrant, and it looks like a true white, nice and bright.

First off: Is this normal, for some LCD's to have a different color like this?

Second: If not, what exactly is wrong? Is my samsung just old? (It's always had this pigmentation)

Third: If it is normal, are there any ways to correct the color?

All lcds have a slightly different color but set the color temp for both at 6500 and see what that does.

How would I go about doing that?
