well, I am looking to get a new monitor/TV shortly and have a tricky choice.
1. buy a 24" monitor and stick with my 23" TV :/
2. buy a 40-42" TV and use my old TV as a 2nd monitor, but also hook my PC up to the TV (40"gaming sounds fun :) )
more than that I cannot decide what TV, it seems like a mine field :(
my choices atm are between the Samsung 6 series and the Sony W4000
the 6series comes with 100hz while the W4000 seems better for everything else.
a big question is responce times I hear very bad stories about TV responce times :( how big of an issue is this?
also, any other great TVs I should know about? id say my budget for a TV is <£1000 and my budget for a 24" monitor is <£400
