I have a Samsung 930BF 19" LCD 4:3 set at 1280X1024 ie the native or recommended resolution. At this forum I have to set IE7 at 150% magnification to read the type used here effectively. And this is typical on most pages on the internet that I read. At HardOCP to read the front page effectively I need 150%

Is their something I have set wrong? Or is this a typical problem for 19" lcd's?

Is this only a problem with your internet browser and not your computer, in general? That is, is the text difficult to read in Word or some PDF?

Is only the text affected in IE or everything?

I'm not running IE so I can't check, but generally, there are two options for 'zooming'. Zooming the entire page, or sizing up/down text. Have you tried to adjust the latter?

There shouldn't be a problem with viewing at that resolution on a 19".
