best 24" monitor / are ASUS any good?

ive found this monitor - Asus MK241H 24in Widescreen http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236033&Tpk=MK241H

does anyone have this or any experience with ASUS screens? i have bad blood with ASUS mobos but never had one of there screens. do they last long? good quality? can anyone suggest better?

i would like 26" but there just too expensive.

I don't have experience with that monitor although I've been researching a new 24" for myself recently and one of the things you have to look for is good viewing angle. That monitor you linked only has a 160° vertical which is pretty poor, try and find a 178°(v), these are generally the better monitors.
