LCD monitor in case side panel?

Is there anyone out there that can mod a laptop screen so it could be powered and operated in a side panel case mod?

you can get special lcds for this but dont even bother trying to use a laptop screen. They use proprietary connections that dont translate over to destop very well. You would need a controler board that would cost quite a bit if you can find the correct one.

I have heard they do cost alot. How about a Portable DVD player screen?

only if it has a video in input already on it or known mods that can add a video in port or some sort

Could just pick up a cheap used monitor at a pawn shop and do this mod...

ya thats the best way to go if your not going to buy a kit with a small screen
