View Full Version : Newly installed Vista, bad resolutions
I just recently installed Vista. After installing my motherboard and gpu drivers, I went to change the screen resolution. Currently the only 'workable' resolution I have is 1024x768. On a 23" widescreen, it looks pretty bad. The next up is 1280x720, which looks really, and I can't even see everything. The last one is 1920x1080, which when I try to use, gives me a "Mode not supported" from my monitor. :bang head
I can't seem to get a good looking resolution, any ideas? Thanks, and I apologize if this should have gone elsewhere.

Were you able to run it at 1080 d before installing vista, because a 23" hdtv sounds like it would only be 720.
my bad I meant 22". I don't remember exactly what it ran at before, but it was deffinately good looking.
Could a mod please move this to the MS OS section or something?
