I have a quick question and was wondering if anyone would have a quick answer. I am looking to upgrade from my 20.1" to a 28" LCD and was wondering what everyone thought about this monitor.

The monitor will be used with the system in my sig. The biggest question is will my 8800's work well with it?
Also it will mainly be used for web browsing and gaming.

Thanks in advance.

It's a trade-off, the price and response time are both outstanding, but the constrast ratio, viewing angle, and color accuracy are a bit sub-par. If you don't mind that go for it.

Seems like a good deal to me, but I'm not a pro when it comes to buying LCDs.

My 2 cents

My brother owns one of Hanns 28" (of which Ive personally use from time to time) and its a nice unit . Nice colors , very good response time , plenty of connections , good for gaming and movies (imo) . The biggest draw back may be the viewing angle not being the greatest , but if your going to use just for pc use (in front of you) then there's really no worry . There maybe some back light bleed (ymmv) , but ive found that it does not interfere (not noticeable) at all with games or movies . My bro uses a GTX (g80) to power the screen , and everything runs fantastic , no problems with fps . We've also fired it up/tested it with my GT/512mb (g92) and everything again runs without a hitch with xint fps .

I have a Soyo 24" that Iam real happy with , but if I were looking for a 28" upgrade ; I would most likely purchase the Hanns 28" without reservation from my experiance using my bro's unit .

Yes, your dual 8800's is exactly the kind of set up you would want for a large monitor. Many ppl over-engineer their comps.

Oooh, that monitor is Vista certified, so you got some future proofing built right in!
