Samsung 226BW is AMAZING if you got the coin.

I have the Chimei. I'm not impressed by it. I think it's pretty good for the money, but the viewing angle is just horrible. Looking straight ahead my eyes just skim the top of the monitor, and when I'm playing a dark game I can barely see what's at the top of the screen without raising the gamma. Don't get me wrong, for the money it was a good choice, but the viewing angle is just annoying to deal with.

Well, the 226BW has 3 panels one of which is the same one as in the Chimei.
Another one that has good reviews is the Dell 228WFP.
And here (http://www.behardware.com/articles/662-1/22-inch-lcd-monitors-the-second-coming.html) is a link you should check out.

P.S
I can't stress this enough: Do not cheap out on the screen! I'm not saying you should get the most expensive one but do as much research that you can and if it means saving some money for another month then do it. A display is an investment, the same display might be with you for MANY years. You can get the BEST hardware out there but if you get yourself a crappy display you will not enjoy it one bit.
