Just wondering if anyone has any experience with both? I'm assuming not, but you never know.

Right now I'm trying to decide between these two, plus a smaller 22". (Samsung 226BW)

The Samsung 244T I can get for or just under $583 and the Dell 2407 goes for $649.

On the other hand, I can "downgrade" to a 6bit monitor and get the Samsung 226BW for just $299 or less!

My mind is just 100% jumbled atm, so any comments, suggestions, and feedback is appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

244T = bad input lag, 2407WFP = refurb/outlet only, 2407WFP-HC = bad inverse ghosting.

Bad input lag.. meaning?

Sorry for my ignorance.. I have a Monster DVI Cable that it would be connected to my pc with.. does that make a difference? lol :beer:

There's a thread in the HTPC section telling you about how you just wasted $50 :P

I don't know if it affects DVI as well, but most of the reviews I saw for the 244t complained about a 0.25-0.5 second lag time for any console systems they hooked up via VGA, Component, Composite or S-Video. I needed something to run my 360 over VGA and my Wii over Component, so that's what turned me off. I dunno if you have the same intentions so it might/might no be an issue for you. Do your homework on this though, check out any/all reviews you can find and see which one fits the bill.

Ah I see. Thanks for the response Mobious :). I would be using it for my PS3 and I was just going to grab a HDMI to DVI Converter for it. (Since I use HDMI for my PS3)
So hopefully it won't affect it using it this way. (I doubt anyone has tried this monitor with PS3 yet who was in my same scenario, or they have and haven't spoke about it for me to find out!)

Thanks again!

Seems like a lot of money for a Samsung monitor (244t).

Go to a Price Club/ Costco, and get your self a Samsung 245BW for $449. No return policy what so ever. You can return in 3 years if you have a receipt.

Then go to any electronic store and get a cheap DVI-D cable, no need to waste money on a name brand cables.

Im sure it will work with PS3, you just need a DVI adapter from PS3.

245BW eh?.. I gotta do some research as I was going for an 8 bit panel.. I guess to me, if it's not 8 bit.. It's kind of like spending money on obsolete technology! :beer:
