I just picked up a Samsung 226cw

I just picked up a Samsung 226cw from BB. It was on sale for 329. This monitor is amazing! It replaced my 19" CRT. I have been using LCDs at work now though for over 4 years. I was running dual 20" Dell 2001FPs (I believe) and the 226cw blows them away by a long shot. I played ET: Quake Wars for about an hour and had zero ghosting. In fact it looks 10x better than my 19" CRT.

Pros:
-No panel lottery
-High Color Gamut
-Big
-Sexy

Cons:
-Price *You get what you pay for.

I returned mine. After using super-fine dot pitch displays a 22" 1680x1050 just didn't cut it...

I am however considering a 24" 245bw since they have the fine dot pitch I'm used to :D

Man my eye site is pretty crappy. I set my res to 1280x720. 1680x1050 is soooooooo small I have to squint to read anything. Some of you guys have eye site better than eagles!

I really really really want that 226cw, I have to walk by a display of them every day on my way into work. It's really eating at me and I"ll probably buy one to replace my faithful old 730b before too long.

Well if you need a monitor now is the time to get the 226cw. Its only 329 a BB.
