Ok my Sister-in-law has a Dell Inspiron 4150 laptop that the display goes dark after a few seconds to a minute of it being on. After some research I have narrowed it down to either the inverter or the LCD bulb itself. Now I want to get the opinions on here as to which one I should replace. I am thinking the inverter. The reason I think that is that when you first turn it on it works but after a few seconds to a minute it goes out. The display is still on. I know this because if I hold a flashlight up to it you can still see what is on the screen and see the cursor move as you move the mouse around. Before it happened it had a somewhat pink hue to the display, if that helps any.
