Mac to XP Video Chat?

So my girlfriend is in washington DC and I'm here in Illinois and we are having trouble getting our webcams to work.

She has a brandnew MacBookPro, with iChat. I have XP Home. Now i know that the newer versions of AIM are not compatible with iChat, so can anyone tell me of a WebCam Software that is compatible with iChat? Or if none exists, could someone tell me of a good application we could both download.

k lets try this again. Any know of a good VideoChat program that is compatible between XP Home and a MacBookPro?

If you both download skype that would work well from what I understand. I have never used the video function myself but have seen it and it was really good, and overall quality seems to be quite good. I often use skype for voice chat halfway across the world and it has really good sound quality.

has she tried other chat clients for OSX?

Adium may work


i beleive you can get Yahoo messenger for OSX if you both used that.
