Hi, i'm having a strange problem with my new Samsung 226CW monitor. I fire up World of Warcraft, I manage to get into the game and play for a couple of minutes when the monitor goes black and shows the no signal DVI/Analogue icon and I can't get the display back until I reboot. Even if I quit the game back to desktop to screen remains black  I tried messing with the "Reduce DVI frequency on high-resolution displays" and "Alternate DVI operational mode" buttons in the ati control panel but the problem is still there. I have tried the latest official catalyst drivers (7.9) from their website and the latest omega drivers too, each has the same problem. I have been trying to find out about this problem and have seen some other posts simular to mine and they hinted towards an inadequate power supply. Could this be my problem or is the monitor faulty?

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could shed some light on this problem!

TIA
Dan

Fixed my own problem, its a known problem with catalyst drivers newer then 7.6. By checking the event viewer there is a ati event saying invalid crt even though i have a tft plugged in. Installed catalyst 7.6 and no problems at all. Maybe this post will help someone else.
