I was wondering if this is a good monitor? It looks like it would work well, but would it work well in games and stuff like that? Here is the link to the monitor.

That panel costs about the same as my 20" LCD and it has built in speakers. It's 2ms reported response time and super low cost would make me say it's a TN panel, which for gaming can be fine. But without seeing what anything really looks like on it I can't give a definite "yay" or "nay". It might have bad backlight bleed or inconsistent colour from top-bottom/side-side or just generally bad colour all together. It might be fantastic IDK, I just can't say without knowing more about it.

Komodo seems to be repackaging someone elses panels and I can't find out whose this one is. They have sold a 20" WS that seemed to get very good reviews but I doubt this is a *VA panel. My instinct says this is not anything to really right home about at that price point. But I might be wrong?

or should i just go with the good old SAMSUNG 226BW Black 22? I know its 2 inches smaller :( but good price for this product. I mean really im going from a 15 inch vga LCD to a 22+ with DVI. I think the picutre should be much better. And i think the 24 might be over kill since im only about a foot and a half away from the monitor. But what do you all think?

Just a little more info, im looking for a monitor that will be good for everyday computer use, games, web browsing. And about $350 US can add or take away if i need too, but not much. I mean if dell makes something like this i wouldnt mind buying from them as well.

Yup, those lcds are very good, DCLCD is made by Sceptre so the speakers are always bad but you paid for a display not for speakers, they came included as a bonus and if you look at the reviews you see that ppl put even 3 eggs just because the speakers sux ...
