Can I get an apraisal (not selling on OC forums)

I want to get rid of these monitors because they are A heavy and B superfluous. So I am just wondering how much you think they are worth before I put up an add in my local area.


I have a Dell 19 inch TFT CRT (8 years old but works like new, really heavy) and a Planar 17 inch LCD (3 years old no ghosting in games)

The Dell was $350 new and the Planar was $600 new.

If you are selling on craigs or something like that dont expect much.

I've seen two year old name brand 17" lcds sell for 100 on craigs so dont expect anymore then one bill. So I would say 80-90 for the lcd.

As for the crt they are not really worth anything unless they are the best crts out there. Everyone has them and not many people want them so dont expect more then say $25.

that goes with what i was thinking for the lcd, i was going to go for about 90 for the lcd and 50 for the crt. but your right about the crt

i COULD keep the crt for high res stuff, but its so damn heavy and big to move, and as a college student i move a lot.
