I have a LCD with 40 milliseconds delay. How much drawback is that when playing online games like AA and Battlefield?
Now there are LCD with as low as 3 ms.

2ms, I'm guessing you are going to see ALOT of ghosting. Or how about, lots of blur during movement. I can drag around my window with text in it and once I move it too fast the screen can't keep up and it gets blurry. I have a 8ms display. Just my little bit of input, I don't really know much about monitors.

BTW, what model is it?

NEC MultiSync LCD1700V. I'm although really satisfied with it. NEC does really make good quality screens. The thing is I don't see any ghosting or blur during movement. I was just afraid I target bad as many times I can be close to enemy and I pop him with a whole magazine without him dieing. And I can with only 5 shoots. That's why I wonder if the 40ms have any impact in that. One other cutback is that my ISP is wireless 2mb. Although I mostly have lower ping than other players.

I hope you guys realize that those monitors that are "2 ms response time" is the time it takes for it to go from gray...to gray. The "real" response times can vary between 8 and 18...depends on the type of monitor...

40ms is pretty huge...but I don't think you will notice. There won't be blurring or anything like that. It just take it a little longer for the picture to show. Even 40ms is decently fast...I wouldn't game with one...but if that is what you got, its not going to kill you...lol
