I've had my 3007 HC for roughly a day or so and everything is okay except for one thing. watching a DVD through media player seems to be too dark. now I know I can adjust the brightness through my nvidia control panel but that makes my desktop too bright.

so I was wondering what other 3007 owners are doing about this? is your video playback with DVDs dark as well or did you find a fix for this?

When I got the 3007 I sat it next to the 24" version and had to tweak it alot to get it just right - I wrote down my settings and that was it.

I dont know about other people but I use mpc / windvd 5 (newer ones are pretty crap) or powerdvd to watch most films. Recently started using mp11 with vista.

adjust the overlay in your nvidia controll panel and save it this will only affect videos so your dt remains the same
