I have been looking to buy a 2407 for quite a while, and being that there is a slight sale currently, I was thinking about purchasing it soon. However, I read somewhere that they weere releasing a new revision soon that will fix the problem of 1080P through component.

I dont really care that much where I can do 1080P through component, but I figure that if this rumor is true, I might as well wait for the new revision.

Does anyone have any information on whether or not this is the case? Thank you

That rumored revision is currently shipping (A04), thought I don't know if it fixed the problem. I have A03.

i read on Hardforums that they are already shipping A04 in the US, so you have a good chance to get one if your in the states. they have been shipping them for some time now in other parts of the world.

I've heard that A04's are now available and did fix the 1080p issue

I know that they are shipping the A04 in the U.K. Well atleast thats what the sales rep said...With everything they say I take a pinch of salt.
