I figure to have about a widescreen LCD atleast 20+. But I'm afraid that widescreen aren't suitable for gaming or ordinary computer use. As the screen is pretty wide your easy's aren't developed for stretching out. It's much easier for your eye's to watch something centered. So I'm afraid it will exhaust my eye's and also when playing games that I will miss out what happens on the wider sides of the LCD and by that have a much slower reaction.
For movie watching it's great but for computer use, please tell me about it!
What is those that have widescreen expiriencing?

Generally widescreen is easier on the eyes and 'feels' more natural. We don't see the world in a squarish format thanks to peripheral vision.

Computer use is great, especially for viewing two webpages or working on two documents. Games may be stretched a little bit but it's not a big deal - I use my Samsung 22" for BF2 and other games all the time.

Most games have internal screen settings you can choose to accomodate widescreen formats.
I have a 23" widescreen. My biggest complaint (and this is meant as partially in jest): I sometimes lose the mouse pointer. On a smaller screen it's easy enough to always see where the pointer is, but on a large widescreen you can easily be looking at one part of the screen while the pointer has been forgotten out of your visual range.
The first time I gamed with it, it felt a little like the screen was wrapping around me. It was a really enjoyable experience and helped immerse me more into the game. I've since aclimated to the screen more for gaming, but it really shines for me outside the gaming environment.
I've played EQ, EQ2, WoW & America's Army on it with absolutely no complaints. I plan to upgrade to a 30" widescreen sometime in the next year.
Personally though, I don't think you can ever really go wrong with more real estate.

I have a 22" 16:10 and first person shooters are awsome on it. It take a few minutes to get used to but I went from a 17" 4:3 to my 22" 16:10 and I will never turn back. There is no streching in most games as they have wide screen resoultions. 22" = 1680x1050.
