OLED better then lcd and plasma?

unless they can change the lifespan of the typical OLED then this tech is worthless; their half life particually the blue ones, brightness wise, tends to be rather short for a consumer device. I know that phosphorescent baised oled's where supposed to be better but I dont know if they have reached mass production. If they did a phosphorescent SOLED panel would be simply awe inspiring.

basically if they can make better blue OLEDs then this tech might go places as SOLED looks to be the only tech that can eventually make budget sized 1080p sets.
