Need Help...Dead 17" Benq LCD

I have a 2 year old 17" Benq LCD that started giving problems recently, basically the screen, every time I reboot my PC, would go on for a split second (does not actually show anything on the screen), and would go completely dead, then 2 seconds later go on again and then dead and so it continues.

Is the LCD power supply blown, VGA port damaged or is the LCD broken beyond repair, would appreciate wome advice. THANKS

Just to rule the computer out, have you tried another monitor?

Yes, I actually bought a 22" and it works fine, I'd like to use the 17" in my basement though. I have two PC hooked up via KVM setup, not sure if that caused the failure?

do you have a multimeter? You could test the output of the transformer.
