Not sure if any knows this but:

A 20" Widescreen has the same native resolution as a 22" widescreen, but the pixel pitch is larger. Its just a larger display (more realstate) with the same resolution.

The pixel pitch for these would be, .26 & .28 respectfully.

Same goes for the 24" and 26" Widescreens. 1920 x 1200 is native.

Pixel pitch on these are .27 & .29 respectfully.

Obviously, the larger the pixel the less sharp it will be..

I'm pretty picky..

If you need to find out what the pixel pitch is, and the specs don't tell you, I can.

At the same time a larger monitor means you can, and should, sit further away from it. This mitigates the larger pixel pitch to an extent. Just look at 32" LCD TVs.

One advantage of the larger screens is that they can be seen easier and also placed farther away for more room on the physical desktop.

If the 32" LCD TV is not 1080p, then the pixel pitch will be .52 @ 1366 x 768

If it is 1080p, then the native resolution would be 1920 x 1080, and the pixel pitch on that would be, .37
