I am getting ready to build a new workstation, and I want a good LCD. The last two one I had were TN Pannels. I am looking at an S-ISP pannel widescreen or even non widescreen. As for sizes for 4:3 it needs to be at least a 19" and for widescreen's 20. It seems Dell has switched to PVA pannels. I want something that is confirmed 100% S-IPS Pannel. Help me out guys.

I just ordered a Dell 2007WFP from the Dell Outlet (refurbished). It arrived today, and it has 0 dead pixels, and it has the S-IPS panel. This thing is absolutely amazing. Yeah, it seems like it's a gamble, but for the price, and the fact that most people win the gamble and get the S-IPS, it's almost too hard to pass this guy up.

I have found a few 20inch 4:3 panels that use them, but all are 400$ and up. Damn I really just want a nice LCD for around 300$

Well, if I were you, I'd still go for the Dell. You can get it from the Dell Outlet (http://outlet.us.dell.com/ARBOnlineSales/topics/global.aspx/arb/online/en/InventorySearch?c=us&cs=22&l=en&lob=MON&MODEL_DESC=ALL&s=dfh) for $289 (free shipping). Dell has a 21-day no-questions-asked return policy, and this includes their refurbs. So, if you have dead pixels or don't get the panel you want, call them and demand 0 dead pixels and the S-IPS panel. From what I've read, they'll verify the model they send you to make sure that it adheres to your requests. I'm still reading, though, that most people are winning this lottery. As I said, I received mine yesterday, and it has 0 dead pixels, and it's the S-IPS. This thing is truly spectacular, and for the price, you just can't beat it.

With your price and size requirements just play the Dell panel lottery.
