I am looking for TV tuners for my HTPC (dual preferrably) and cannot really see which ones are Vista compatible. I presume this would not be a problem, but I am not sure.

The Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500 MCE looks nice, but no vista info anywhere. Can you give a hint?

Thanks

any tuner in theory should be compatible, it just depends on whether they release vista drivers for the tuner. and i suspect this won't happen until M$ releases vista-based MCE, so you might be in for a wait.

stay far away from that tuner. it looks good on paper, but hauppauge has had major quality control issues with it since they switched from philips to samsung tuners. nvidia's dualtv mce (http://www.nvidia.com/page/dualtv_overview.html) tuner does have vista drivers available, so that may be your best bet. alternatively, you could get 2 single tuner cards (if you have enough room on your motherboard).

I'm using a PVR-500 with good sucess. but I'm one of the lucky one who got the older version board/chip tho.

if I'm redoing it again, I might go for nvidia's dualTV tuner too as it just got BTV supported.
